"The Night of Lights", the traditional festival in Uruguay sponsored by Coca Cola and Channel 10, was taken place again in the Pocitos seashore on Dec. 13. About 600,000 people arrived in the vicinity of the Pocitos seashore where started the "Parade of Joy" at 8 pm and two hours later, the countdown to the sky light of bright colors.
Firstly, the authorities of the Municipality of Montevideo (IMM) announced that the transit system, from 5 pm, would be cut off. Following, the IMM announced that the movement eastwards along the road south was accessible.
After the people arrived, the parade of joy started to ride all around the seashore of Montevideo. People started to sing and dance. Until 10 pm, when the countdown started, the people enjoyed the music and being with their family.
At 10 pm o'clock, the countdown said: "three, two, one", (in spanish "tres, dos, uno") the amazing fireworks started to dance in the Uruguayan dark sky and it was full of color and magic scene! The fireworks show had lasted 15 minutes.
